In a notable achievement, Research in Flight has been entrusted with a six-month SBIR Phase-I contract by NASA. This project entails the integration of sophisticated flow-separation and high-lift modeling technologies into FlightStream®, the company’s leading software. This initiative is a key part of the ongoing developmental enhancements to the FlightStream® flow solver.
The Phase-I endeavor is set to commence shortly, with a dedicated period of six months. The culmination of this phase will be marked by the submission of a comprehensive report detailing the research findings and the prototype developed, which will be presented to the NASA Langley Research Center in December 2016.
